Current Situation in Hualngoram

Because of heavy air strikes, most schools in Hualngoram had to close back in October 2025. The situation is still very difficult. The military government has retaken control of the three nearest towns.

So far, enemy soldiers have not entered Hualngoram itself, but military aircrafts have dropped bombs in the area four times, hitting Zimte, Tuibual Hospital, Khuaimual, and Khawpuichhip.

Satawm and Zimpui Schools Cannot Open

For the past few years, HMJ has been supporting the schools in Satawm village and Zimpui village. Sadly, neither school can open for this new term.

In Zimpui, there are no students left in the village because everyone had to flee. In Satawm, only about six children remain, so it is not possible to run a school there right now.

ホゥアルンゴラム地域の現況

激しい空爆のため、ホゥアルンゴラムの大半の学校は2025年10月に閉鎖を余儀なくされました。状況は依然として非常に困難で、軍事政権は周辺の3つの町の支配を再び強めています。

これまでのところ、ホゥアルンゴラム地域への軍隊の侵入はありませんが、戦闘機による空爆は地域内で4回発生。ジムテ、トゥイブアル、クアイムアル、そしてコープイチップが爆撃を受けました。

休校が続くサタウム校とジンプイ校

ここ数年、HMJはサタウム村とジンプイ村の学校を支援してきましたが、残念ながらどちらの学校もこの新学期は開校することができません。

ジンプイ村では、全員が避難せざるを得なかったため、村には子どもたちが一人も残っていません。サタウム村には約6名の子どもが残っていますが、この人数で学校を運営することは不可能な状態です。

Shifting Funding to Two New Schools

Currently, only 16 out of 47 schools are open in the area, with 532 students and 64 teachers.

Since Satawm and Zimpui are closed, HMJ has decided to transfer this year’s funds to two other schools that are currently open.

別の2校に支援金をシフト

現在、地域全体で開校しているのはわずか47校中16校。532名の生徒と64名の教師がいます。

サタウム校とジンプイ校が閉鎖されているため、HMJとして今年は別の二校へ支援を切り替えることとしました。

Tuidil Village School🏫トゥイディル校:

Tuidil Village School has 5 teachers and about 40 students. They have working internet access, which means they can easily send us detailed and proper reports. The village is also close to the HPO Education office, making it safe and easy for staff to visit when needed.

トゥイディル村の学校は、生徒数約40名、教師５人。インターネット環境が整っているため、詳細で適切なレポートを簡単に送ってもらうことができます。また、村はHPO教育事務所からも近く、必要なときにはスタッフが安全かつ容易に訪問することができます

Thingchang Village School🏫ティンチャン校:

30 students, 5 teachers. They have access to the internet, and their village is also easy to visit by HPO Education office staff.

ティンチャン村の学校：生徒数約30人、教師5人。 インターネットアクセスあり。HPO教育オフィススタッフからのアクセスも容易な村。

近いうちにこれら2つの学校からの近況報告や写真をお届けできるのを楽しみにしていてください。安全上の理由から計画は変更されましたが、「子どもたちを守り、教育を届ける」というHMJの目標は変わりません。

Situation Remains Highly Volatile

Once the rainy season ends and the weather gets better, it is likely that ground troops might try to enter Hualngoram. For now, the HPO Education office is still open in town, but they may have to close it if the military enters the area. We will continue to try to adapt to the situation the best we can.
