Myanmar Earthquake Aid
Myanmar suffered a magnitude 7.7 earthquake on March 28, 2025. The country has been at war since the military coup in 2021. Unlike Japan, Myanmar is not prepared for earthquakes. There are no evacuation sites, no evacuation plans. Many people are left without their homes and have no place to go. Heartship Myanmar Japan is working with our contacts in Myanmar to gather information on the state of the disaster. We will send our funds to the most reliable organization on the ground that will be able to help people.
