山岳地帯に位置するHualngoramには舗装された道路がなく、6月から１０月にかけての雨季には特に移動が困難になります。
There are no paved roads in the mountainous area of Hualngoram. During the rainy season, which lasts from June to October, the roads can be very difficult to travel.地域のリーダーやボランティアなどで形成されるHPOは、2021年のクーデター以降、政府に代わる自治組織として活動しています。そして、定期的な視察や教育活動を実施するために、スタッフはHPO本部とHualngoramの５８村をひんぱんに移動します。例年は1時間で移動できる距離でも、今年は3時間かかる、とのことです。　
HPO is a group of local leaders and volunteers who have stepped up to govern the area after the military coup in 2021. Their staff travels frequently from their headquarters to the 58 villages in Hualngoram to conduct periodic visits and various teaching activities to help the villagers. This year, it is taking them three hours to travel, where it usually takes one hour.道路悪化の原因は主に２つ。雨と交通量です。例年の雨季よりも雨量が多いとのこと。気候変動の影響と考えられます。また、Hualngoramはインドとの国境に位置しているため、通り道としても利用されます。現在ではHualngoramに国軍基地はありませんが、それでも多くの兵隊が地域を通過し、道路状況の悪化につながっているそうです。
The reason can be two factors. Rain and traffic. Even for a rainy season, they say there is too much rain. The weather is not normal, probably an effect of climate change. Since Hualngoram is located on the border with India, it becomes a pathway for many. Even though there are currently no junta camps in Hualngoram, many troops still come and go through the area, leading to worsening road conditions.雨季の後は、気温が10℃以下まで下がることもある寒い季節がやってきます。生き延びようとする人々にとって新たな困難となるでしょう。
After the rainy season will come the cold season, where temperatures can drop to below 10 degrees Celcius. This will be another challenge for people trying to survive.#helpMyanmar #ミャンマー　＃国際協力　#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar

A new project to improve children's health in Chin

A new project to improve children's health in Chin State, Myanmar.
ミャンマー、チン州の子どもたちの健康を守るための新プロジェクト。As a start, 20 villages (905 children) that face the most challenges out of the 58 villages of Hualngoram were selected.
まずはHualngoram地域にある58村の中から、状況が厳しい20村が選ばれました。We are distributing vitamins to prevent diseases, and teaching them about nutrition and health.
病気を予防するためのビタミン剤を配布し、栄養や健康について教育活動を実施。Your donations will help us continue projects like this.
