On March 15, 2026, Heartship Myanmar Japan (HMJ) returned to a very special place: the “WITH Urayasu” citizen activity festival. For us, this event is much more than just a gathering of local NPOs—it is where our journey in the community began.

A Journey of Five Years
HMJ launched in the fall of 2021, and “WITH Urayasu” was the very first event we joined as a newly established organization. Since the spring of 2022, we have been proud to participate in every single “WITH” event. This year marks our fifth time joining this wonderful community gathering. Over the years, this festival has become a vital place for us to meet the people in our community and share the stories of the children in Myanmar.
活動の歩みと5度目の節目
2021年秋に活動を開始したHMJにとって、「WITH 浦安」は立ち上げ後初めて参加した記念すべきイベントでした。2022年春からは欠かすことなく参加し続け、今年で5回目という節目を迎えました。地域の皆様と直接お会いし、ミャンマーの子供たちの現状を伝えられる貴重な場です。
Fundraising and Community Support
At our fundraising booth, we were able to connect with visitors. Proceeds from every item sold will be sent directly to Myanmar to support the children. Our items include the original “Mingalabar（meaning hello in Burmese) ” education towel, handmade pouches, roasted black sesame oil sourced directly from Myanmar, and a mini-towel printed with a special painting donated by artist Mina Kimura. The painting was created especially for our charity, and the original artwork was displayed at our booth.
チャリティ物販を通して地域と交流
チャリティ販売ブースでは、来場者の皆様と直接お会いし、お話しすることができました。お買い上げいただいた全ての商品の収益金は、ミャンマーの子供たちを支援するために、全額現地へ届けられます。
ブースでは、オリジナルの「ミンガラバー（ビルマ語で こんにちは）教育支援タオル」やハンドメイドのポーチ、ミャンマー直送の一番搾り焙煎黒ごま油に加え、画家の木村美奈子さん作の特別な絵をプリントしたミニタオルも販売しました。この作品は、HMJチャリティのために描き下ろしてくれたもので、当日はブースにその原画も展示し、多くの方にご覧いただくことができました。
Collecting Soccer Gear
With the generous cooperation of the Urayasu Football Association, we set up a collection point at the event ground. Once again this year, we were able to collect boxes full of soccer gear.
We are currently getting ready to ship them to Yangon, so please stay tuned for updates.
サッカー用品の回収
浦安市サッカー協会の多大なるご協力のもと、会場にて多くのユニフォームやスパイク、ボールなどを寄付していただきました。おかげさまで今年もたくさんのサッカー用品を集めることができました。
ヤンゴンに向けた船便発送のため、現在回収品の整理を行なっています。集まったサッカー用品について、詳しくは別途ご報告させていただきますので乞うご期待ください。
Panasonic Boxes for the Tough Journey Ahead
The soccer gear faces a long and arduous journey to reach the children in Chin State, Myanmar. After arriving in Yangon by sea, the boxes must be transported to the mountainous Hualngoram region—a particularly challenging route that often passes through active conflict zones. Given the current situation in Myanmar, the timeline and safety of the journey are often unpredictable.
The Panasonic boxes, originally designed to safely transport electric ovens, are exceptionally durable. Last year, they successfully protected our donations throughout a grueling 10-month journey. We are incredibly grateful to our local Panasonic store, YELC, for their continued support and for donating these high-quality boxes.
ミャンマーへの旅を支える「パナソニックの箱」
日本から贈るサッカー用品が、ミャンマー・チン州の子供たちの元に届くまでには、長く険しい道のりがあります。船便でヤンゴンに到着した後、山岳地帯であるホゥアルンゴラム地域まで陸路で運ばれますが、紛争地域を通過しなければならないため、その道のりは非常に困難です。現在のミャンマー情勢では、輸送ルートや日程において予期せぬ事態も起こり得ます。
オーブンレンジなどの電化製品を安全に運ぶために作られたパナソニックのダンボール箱は、非常に頑丈で耐久性に優れています。昨年発送した支援品は、10ヶ月に及ぶ過酷な旅路をこの箱の中で耐え抜き、無事に子供たちの元へ届きました。地元のパナソニックの店「エルク（YELC）」より、これらの丈夫な箱を寄付していただき、活動を支えてくださっていることに心から感謝します！
