Zimpui School in Chin State, Myanmar, reopened on July 21, following a 10-day closure due to the armed conflict in the Hualngoram region.

Following the 2021 military coup, HMJ has been directly supporting Zimpui and Satawm Schools by providing funds to cover teachers’ salaries and stationery costs. Satawm school, where all residents had to evacuate, has not yet resumed classes.

ホゥアルンゴラム地域での武力衝突により10日間の休校を余儀なくされていたミャンマー、チン州ジンプイ村の学校が7月21日に再開しました。

2021年の軍事クーデター以降、HMJでは教師の給料や文房具費用を送金することでジンプイ校とサタウム校を直接支援してきました。全住民が避難を余儀なくされたサタウム村では、まだ学校再開とはなっていません。

📚 Students were eager to go back to school

On July 2, 2025, the Chin National Defence Force (CNDF) launched a sudden invasion into the Hualngoram area. As a result, all 47 schools in the region were forced to close.
Thankfully, Zimpui village was spared from direct violence and residents did not have to evacuate. Older students supported their families by working on nearby farms, while younger children helped at home.

But one question remained on everyone’s mind:
“When can we go to school again?”

📚 学校再開を待ちわびていた子どもたち

2025年7月2日、チン民族防衛軍（CNDF）がホゥアルンゴラム地域に突如侵攻したことで、地域内の47校すべてが休校となりました。
幸いにもジンプイ村では直接的な侵略や攻撃はなく、住民の避難も必要ありませんでした。休校の間、体力のある子どもたちは農作業を手伝い、年少の子どもたちは家庭の手伝いをして日々を過ごしたそうです。
そんな中、全員が毎日同じ質問をしていました：
「いつからまた学校に行けるの？」
