Since this spring, we have been working closely with the Urayasu Football Association to collect used soccer goods to be shipped to Myanmar. We would like to share their post about activities that contribute to our community through soccer/football activities open to everyone regardless of age, sex, disabilities, or nationality.

11月10日、日曜日、まちづくりプラザで開催された、まちづくりフェスタwithにおいて、浦安市サッカー協会のサッカー体験コーナーとミャンマーの子どもたちへのサッカー用具支援を実施しました。
On Sunday, November 10th, at the Community Development Plaza, the Urayasu Football Association hosted a football experience corner at the city’s festival, and also collected football equipment for children in Myanmar.
このイベントは浦安市内で活動する市民活動団体、まちづくり活動団体の活動内容展示、ワークショップ、販売を通じて 団体活動を知ってもらう貴重な機会、新たな繋がりが生まれる場所ということで、屋内・屋外でさまざまな催しが行われました。
The festival was a valuable opportunity to get to know the activities of citizen and community groups active in Urayasu City through displays, workshops and sales, and a place where new connections could be made, and various events were held both indoors and outdoors.
浦安市サッカー協会では、インクルーシブフットボールプロジェクトの活動の一つとして、歩くサッカー体験、ストリートサッカー、キック体験と、ミャンマーの子どもたちへのサッカー用具支援のための回収を行いました。
As part of the activities of the Urayasu City Football Association’s Inclusive Football Project, we hosted a walking football experience, street football, a kick experience, and collected football equipment to send to children in Myanmar.
このプログラムは、地域で活動するジュニアサッカークラブ、新浦安ユナイテッドの協力を得て行いました。開会セレモニーのあと、内田市長とチーバ君がコーナーに来てくださいました。
This program was held with the cooperation of the Shin-Urayasu United junior football club, which is active in the local area. After the opening ceremony, Mayor Uchida and Cheeba-kun came to our area.
「歩くサッカー」”Walking soccer/football”
歩くサッカー体験は、子どもも大人も、男性も女性も、サッカー経験の有無をとわず、みんなで一緒にサッカーのゲームを楽しみます。
新浦安ユナイテッドの会員と指導者を中心に、ご家族にも参加いただいて、たくさんゲームを行いました。お母さんのシュートが見事決まったり、女の子の果敢なドリブル、指導者同士のゲーム、みんな笑顔でゲームをします。
The “Walking Soccer” experience is a game where everyone, children and adults, men and women, with or without soccer experience, can enjoy playing soccer together. With the members and coaches of Shin-Urayasu United at the center, many games were played with the participation of families. Mothers scored some great goals, the girls dribbled fearlessly, the coaches played games with each other, and everyone played with a smile on their faces.
小学校入学前の小さいお子さん、女の子、普段サッカーをしていない子が自由にボールを蹴ることができるコーナーもあります。コーンをボウリングのピンのように並べて倒したり、ミニミニゴールにシュートしたり。保護者や友だちとのゲームも自由にできます。
There was also a corner where small children, girls and children who don’t usually play soccer could kick a ball freely. They could knock down the cones lined up like bowling pins, or shoot at the mini-mini goal. They could also play games with their parents and friends freely.
ミャンマーに送るサッカー用具の回収 Collecting soccer goods for Myanmar
ミャンマーの子どもたちへのサッカー用具支援は、まちづくりフェスタに参加しているハートシップ・ミャンマー・ジャパンと連携して行いました。

The soccer equipment support for the children of Myanmar was carried out in collaboration with Heartship Myanmar Japan, which also participated in the city festvival.
時間中、様々な方がたくさんんのサッカー用具をもってきてくださり、前回同様、段ボール箱2個分のボール、シューズ、ウェア、バッグそのほかの用具をお預かりしました。
During the event, many people brought in various soccer equipment, and as in the previous event, we received two cardboard boxes full of balls, shoes, clothes, bags and other equipment.
11月中に内容を整理して、ハートシップ・ミャンマー・ジャパンから、ミャンマーに向けて発送します。ミャンマーは国内の混乱が続いていて、サッカー用具を気軽に手に入れることができない状態です。子どもたちはウェアもなく、裸足でプレーして、ボールも何かを丸めたもので代用しています、子どもたちにとって、このようなプレゼントはとてもうれしいものです。
The contents will be sorted during November, and then shipped from Heartship Myanmar Japan to Myanmar. Due to the ongoing turmoil in Myanmar, it is difficult for people to easily obtain soccer equipment. The children play barefoot, with no clothes, and substitute a ball with something rolled up, so for them, this kind of present is very welcome.

The soccer equipment that was provided last time in March arrived safely in the mountain villages of Myanmar in August, and photos of the local area and children playing with the soccer equipment were also displayed.
まちづくりフェスタwithには、700名を超える方が参加されました。そのうち、サッカー体験には151名の方に参加いただきました。みなさん、ありがとうございました。
Over 700 people took part in the Machizukuri Festa with. Of these, 151 people took part in the soccer experience. Thank you to everyone.
