A Miracle After an 8-Month Journey 

After an incredible 8-month journey filled with challenges including a major earthquake and navigating through active conflict zones, the 185kg of soccer gear collected and donated by the Urayasu Football Association has finally reached the children in Hualngoram. We are overjoyed to share photos of distribution day, where the gear we collected in Japan was finally placed into the hands of eager students. 

8ヶ月の旅を経て起きた奇跡

大地震や紛争地帯の通過など、8ヶ月に及ぶ困難な道のりを乗り越え、浦安市サッカー協会の皆様から託された185kgのサッカー用品がついにホゥアルンゴラムの子供たちのもとに届きました。日本で回収した支援品が、ついに子供たちの手に渡った配布日の様子をお届けします。

Heartfelt Gratitude from the Field

Kima, the leader of the HPO Education Department, sent us a moving report:

Because of the large volume, we were able to distribute the soccer goods to eight schools. They are overjoyed. Both students and young children are eagerly looking forward to playing and being active. They are already making good use of the uniforms they received.
If each school had to purchase these on their own, it would be impossible.
To ensure fairness and prevent jealousy among students, a meaningful decision was made: the uniforms will be kept as shared property of the schools. This allows as many children as possible to experience the joy of playing in a complete set of high-quality gear.

 現地リーダーから届いた感謝のメッセージ

HPO教育部のリーダーであるキマから、喜びの報告が届きました:

十分な量が届いたので、今回は８校に分配することができました。子供たちは大喜びです。生徒も小さな子たちも、皆でスポーツをすることを心待ちにしています。届いたユニフォームは、さっそく活用されています。

学校が自力でこれらを購入することは、到底不可能です。
公平性を保ち、子供たちの間で嫉妬が起きないよう、ユニフォームを各学校が所有、管理することに決まりました。これにより、一人でも多くの子供がフルセットの高品質なウェアを着てプレーする喜びを分かち合えるようになります。

“Like Reaching for a Star” 

Because these items come from Japan, they are valued even more. For these children, wearing brand-name soccer shoes is like reaching for a star in the sky, something they once thought was unimaginable. Schools that have not yet received gear continue to ask when their turn will come. 
They may not fully realize the struggle it took to transport these donations across war-torn regions, but the joy and hope your kindness has brought speaks louder than words. As the situation remains difficult, with schools like Satawm often forced to hold classes in village halls, these soccer goods provide a vital reason for children to keep smiling and learning. 

「空の星を掴むような」喜び

日本から届いた品物であるからこそ、その価値はさらに高く評価されています。ブランドのスパイクを履くことは、「空の星を掴むような、到底叶わない夢」でした。まだ受け取っていない学校からも問い合わせが絶えません。

戦火を越えて届けるための苦労を、子供たちはまだ完全には理解していないかもしれません。しかし、皆様の優しさがもたらした喜びと希望は、どんな言葉よりも彼らの心に響いています。集会所で授業を行わざるを得ないなど危険な状況が続いていますが、このサッカー用品が、子供たちが笑顔で学び続けるための大きな支えとなっています。
