”My name is Thi Thi Aye and I am 37 years old. My husband sells ice-pops. I am a housewife. We have 3 children. We all rely on my husband’s income which is just enough for daily food. ”

”The rice donation is so helpful.  We had no rice in our house, so we are so thankful. We pray for the donors to be able to donate more.”

「Thi Thi Aye、37歳です。夫はアイスキャンディーを売っていて、 私は専業主婦です。子どもは3人います。夫の収入で、どうにか家族全員で日々食べていける状態です。

お米の寄付はとても助かりました。 我が家のお米は底をついていたので、本当にありがたいです。寄付者の皆様が、今後も寄付することができるよう祈っています。」

Note: To pray for someone to be able to donate more is the best prayer for Buddhists since how much merit (including donation) they do in this life defines their next life.

注釈：仏教では、現世でどれほど功徳（寄付を含む）を積むかにより来世が決まると考えられているため、寄付者が「もっと寄付できますように」というのは最高の祈りの言葉である。
